LAVENDAR IN THE VILLAGE FESTIVAL

WHERE: The Agri-Nature Center 4920 Rio Grande Blvd. NW – Village of Los Ranchos

WHY: One of our favorite events of the year!. Join over 10,000 lavender lovers, farmers, small businesses, musicians, yoga instructors, and come see our butterfly life cycle display.  We’ll also have life cycle kits, books and other butterfly trinkets for sale. Click HERE for more information.  All proceeds from the festival support local agriculture and educational programming.

BUTTERFLY TAG AND RELEASE

WHEN: Saturday, 09.28.2019; 9:00am-12:30pm

WHERE: Jericho Nursery – 101 Alameda Blvd. NW, Albuquerque NM

WHY: Step up and become a citizen scientist by doing your part in helping study the migration and breeding patterns of Monarch butterflies in the Southwest. You can adopt a monarch butterfly, we’ll show you how to tag it, and then you can release your butterfly.  Stay tuned for more information.
